Abstract

This award will develop and transfer Lucy’s current skills in mixed methods research to service development for people living with dementia.
Methods
Lucy will undertake an initial, exploratory qualitative study of key stakeholder views on the physical and service needs of people living with dementia under mental health services.
She will also build on existing networks with primary care and public health researchers to build the foundations for a larger study investigating integrated physical-mental health care models for people living with dementia in community and inpatient settings.

This award will develop Lucy’s work with patient and public contributors, improving inclusivity of people living with dementia in research.
